Trello experienced an issue starting at around 11:22 UTC and resulting in the site being down from 11:39 - 11:53 UTC due to an issue with websocket connections dropping and reconnecting repeatedly and overwhelming our servers, suspected to be due to recent changes to our websocket handling behavior. The site was brought back online at 11:53 UTC and response times returned to expected levels by 12:03 UTC. We continue to investigate the root cause of the issue while deploying a version of the code base without the new websocket logic.
